Basic Function
A skilled craftsman in the HVAC trade. Skills have been learned through the apprenticeship program or 4 or more years on the job training.

Education/Training
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Completed and tested out of apprenticeship program or like experience.
Experience
Minimum 8,000 hours HVAC employment history.
Equipment/Tools
Miscellaneous tools necessary to the HVAC trade. Fork lift, Scissor Lift, Hilti Guns, etc.
Certifications/Licenses
Valid Driver’s License-Must meet insurance underwriting requirements. Fork and scissor lift certification, OSHA 10 hour certification. Regional Journeyman certificate where applicable.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift/move 80-100 pounds several times daily. Must be able to work outdoors in hot or below freezing temperatures. Must be able to work from ladders and scaffolds. Must have good vision, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, working overhead, and lifting. Exposed to a moderate noise environment. ZERO TOLERANCE FOR UNSAFE WORK PRACTICES.

Responsibilities
- Perform all other duties as assigned by lead man
- Installs HVAC systems complete
- Directs and supervises daily activity of field crew with guidance and coordination from Field Lead, Project Manager, and General Contractor
- Summit daily reports as required
- Responsible for physical jobsite organization and housekeeping
- Responsible meeting schedules by ordering stock and fabricated material in a timely manner
- Responsible for accurate accounting of labor, material including understanding and meeting job budgets
- Responsible for instruction and on the job training of apprentices
- Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local, national codes and industry standards. Ensure all necessary inspections are made through all phases of work
- Proficient in the areas of Blueprint reading, Field Fabrication, Construction, Finish, Welding, Sealing, and Insulating
- Professional attitude working as a team with our customers and fellow tradesman to accomplish the project within budget emphasizing safety
